I had the opportunity to give an in-depth presentation on open source filmmaking principals at the BFI Southbank, as the last speaker at the one day Power to the Pixel forum, penultimate to a panel drawing conclusions from the day. Power to the Pixel offered a great showcase on digital distribution and filmmaking as part of the London Film Festival.
I was particularly honoured to be asked to present a UK originated project amongst a field of pioneers that were mainly US-based. Organizer Liz Rosenthal is one of the UK’s most savvy advocates and experts on digital cinema, and she put together a great first event that is going from strength to strength.
